Stephen Gordon, Inc. is dedicated to providing the medical community the best patient education material. With this mission, we have worked to create Ocutouch, a revolutionary patient education program that redefines how practices educate their patients. Stephen F. Gordon

Stephen F. Gordon received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1976 from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, with a special emphasis on Studio Art studies.

From 1976 to 1978, he was the full-time medical artist for the Port Huron Eye Clinic, Port Huron, Michigan. There he directed and produced all medical art and surgical/clinical photography for Nicholas G. Douvas, MD. Medical Art accomplishments included over 250 full-color illustrations for publication and educational presentation.

From 1978 to 1982, Stephen F. Gordon was employed as the head of ophthalmic illustration services and related photography at the University of South Florida Medical Center, Department of Ophthalmology, Tampa, Florida. There he completed over 1000 full-color illustrations for educational journals, books, and a variety of display presentations, including design of medically related reports, brochures, and exhibits.

From 1982 to present, he has been a self-employed Freelance Medical/Dental Illustrator, Designer, and Publisher, having produced over 5,000 medical and dental related illustrations and paintings for journal publication, books, presentations, exhibits, patient education materials, advertising, packaging, and web sites.

During that same period until 2001, Stephen F. Gordon was also the Senior Art Consultant and Full-Time Illustrator for the Highlights of Ophthalmology, Republic of Panama. His artworks have appeared as a major contribution within over 30 fully illustrated published textbooks and atlases, and over 150 international medical journals and magazines.

Other artistic endeavors include landscape, sci-fi, and wildlife painting. He currently resides in North Street, Michigan with his wife and family, working in a studio overlooking the Black River Valley.

Stephen R. Gordon

Stephen R. Gordon obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in December 2004 from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.

From 1997 to mid-2003, he collaborated with Stephen F. Gordon to design web sites for both ophthalmic patient education as well as other industries. While he served primarily as a web developer, he worked closely with Stephen F. Gordon to design and implement solutions for over 50 practices. He was honored in 2001 by the NASE as the sole recipient of the prestigious Future Entrepreneur of the Year award for his work in these areas.

From 2003 to 2004, he and Stephen F. Gordon founded Stephen Gordon, Inc. to bring the world-renowned artwork of Stephen F. Gordon to a new medium that could meet the ever-evolving needs of ophthalmology and optometry.

During the summer of 2004, he was on leave from Stephen Gordon, Inc. while he worked as a Software Design Engineer Intern for Microsoft Corporation. During his internship, he worked on the MSN Messenger Server Team where he contributed his talents for upcoming technologies.
